When I first got this game I rushed to my Playstation and put in the disc and played a GREAT game. After I was done with the Final Fantasy VIII demo, I popped in Brave Fencer Musashi. At first glance I was laughing my @$$ off. The Character graphics look like Fisher Price Lil' People, and the character voice acting was some of the dumbest I've ever seen in a game. The plot is like this, A hero (Musashi) is summoned from another world to save there kingdom from a evil before his life force runs out. This Action RPG is no Zelda but is a lot of fun. With great puzzles and bosses the gameplay is what keeps this game alive. Musashi must learn special moves, spells and assimilations (copy his enemies) in his quest to save the world. Another problem, Game hours. This game takes only about 20 hours to complete. If you looking for a serous RPG, BFM is not it. Final Fantasy VII & Xenogears are a lot better. While BFM is not Squresofts best game, this is one worth looking at. Maybe a renter. The only reason to buy this game, is for the Final Fantasy VIII demo.
