Three beautiful babes are on a mission to stop a evil force called the Hammer from terrorizing the world.
(sounds a little like Charles Angles.)
That's the basic plot to Danger Girl for the Playstation. Based on a Popular Comic Book.
You'll play as Abbey, Sydney or JC in missions that play like a Tomb Raider or Duke Nukem Time to Kill game. You pick up and use key items and shoot bad guys. (simple enough)
The game's graphics are not the best ever seen in a playstation game but do hold up.
If you ever played Tomb Raider 4 or Duke Nukem Time to Kill it has the same style of control and graphics as they do. The graphics are sharper and little better animated then those games,
so it does stand out a little.
The FMV is nice but could have been animated a little better.
(you guys will get a kick out of some them......Lara and these gal's must use the same Plastic Surgeon.)
The Gameplay is a lot like of course Tomb Raider but also has the instant target system similar to Tomorrow Never Dies. The AI could have been a little better. In one level you have to rescue hostages and they kill them if they spot you. They killed one before she opened the door to the room. Those bad guys must have really good ears or they can see though walls.
The Control is okay, but not flawless. There's a button you press to switch from run to Sneak. instead of holding it and release to switch back. also the jumping and grabbing to platforms is hard to judge and make contact. and the first person targeting system is a bit slow.
The sound and music are just average. The girls say silly lines and some can be funny. But most of the time you'll roll your eyes at the campy dialog.
If you like Tomb Raider & the resent Duke Nukem Games you'll get a kick out of Danger Girls.
Or If you just want to play a beautiful babes in skimpy clothes then this game is for you.
