The odds of Bruce Willis ever reprising his role as John Mclain in the Die Hard movies are not good now and become less and less likely each year.
That's okay, thanks to FOX Interactive we can continue the adventures of John Mclain with video games. The original Die Hard Trilogy game was based on the 3 films. So how do you have a sequel? Write a new story. Die Hard Trilogy 2 puts are favorite New York cop in Las Vegas where a prison riot just took place during the wardens anniversary party on which Mclain was attending. The prisoners escape and crash the bash with gun flaring. Its up to John of course to save the day, this means you.
Much like the original, Die Hard Trilogy 2 is really 3 games in one. A 3D 3rd person view action game, a 1st person view gun shooter, and an action racing game. Which are all featured as different levels in story mode.
The 3D action portion this time around is more reminiscent of Syphon Filter, and is an improvement. Probably the best part of the game.
The gun shooter this time around is compatible with a PSX gun. Which is an improvement, but less gutsy. In both meanings of the word.
The driving portion was the best in the original and worst here. PUBLISHER: FOX INTERACTIVE

Die Hard Trilogy 2 is a fast paced, extremely fun game. Full fill all your dreams of saving the day during a terrorist invasion. However this edition does not surpass the original.OVERALL: 8
