DRACULA: THE RESURRECTION

by Jay "THE FLEA" Wade

Continuing from where Brams Stoker’s Dracula left off, comes Dracula the Resurrection.
You play as Jonathan Harker and he returns Transylvania to find his missing wife.
In this first person click and point game you have a full 3D freedom to look around to search and look for clues. The movement is close the another Drac game called “D”. Point to where you want to go and press a button to move forward. But unlike D which had some redeeming qualities, Dracula the Resurrection offers nothing but a bad story, horrible voice acting, little gameplay and ugly graphics.

The story is silly and you find your self making fun of its ridiculous plot and goofy dialog.
The graphics are horrid, over exaggerated characters and a fish eye view when you look around.
Character graphic look like puppets, and Jim Henson could have done a far better job.
Sometimes you laugh on how silly they look and others you groan or shudder.

The gameplay in Dracula is boring and is a chore to play. And items are hard to see and find.
You’ll get lost many times due to you can’t find where you supposed to go next.
Dracula has no replay value, after beating it you feel you just wasted your gaming hours.
And if you do want to play this game again, you must be one of the undead yourself.

If your looking for a better click and point I’d recommend anything else but this game.
Clock Tower, D, X-Files or Juggernaut. Okay maybe Juggernaut should be excluded, but its better then this game.
At least both Dracula and this game have some thing in common, they both suck.
