As the dukester would say, "It's time to Kick ass and chew gum, and I'm all out of gum!" Duke Nukem has returned in a whole new game format, instead of a 1st person shooter. He's a Tomb Raider wanna be. from blowing away the bad guys to jumping from ledge to ledge. The duke has to save the world (and his strip bar) from those alien pigs again, so the he travels through time to change history. Every time he returns home he finds the Pigs have altered time so it's up to the Dukester to return things back to the way they were. Now I'll warn any younger gamer's that they might want to say away from this game due to its sexual content, I hear they toned Duke down for the America version, but it's still a little hardcore. With tons of weapons, secrets and pigs to kill this game is tons of fun, with a lot of flaws. First the graphics, although Duke and all the backgrounds look alright they still are vary polygonal. The girls Duke meets look like they got square heads! The control is no Tomb Raider, vary stiff and can get you killed if not careful. The music and sound I must say are vary good. From the opening song to Duke's attitude. The number of levels is another problem, The back of the CD case claims 28 levels but that's including the bonus, bosses & multi-player levels. There's only 12 levels, 3 bosses, 6 bonus levels and 6 multi-player levels. The levels are well done and at times vary humorous. From finding the Back to the Future car to Lara Croft jokes. Overall I believe Duke is worth taking a look at, I just think the programmers should put a little more time in the graphics, control and more levels.
