What happens when you mix Final Fantasy 7 and Tekken 3? You get Ehrgeiz, Squaresoft new fighting game. A though EZ is no Tekken 3 it is still a 3D fun fighter. The combos aren't as complex as Tekken 3 and the graphics aren't as sharp. EZ does have ton's of extra's in the game like Tekken 3, From 4 Mini games and a RPG mode which is a big extra. The fighting in this game is fast and you can jump to higher & lower levels on some Arenas. In the game you get to play 10 original EZ characters and play as 5 Final Fantasy VII characters. (Cloud, Tifa, Sephiroth, Vincint & Yuffie) Also there's 2 other secret characters. There's even a Final boss that as far as I can tell not playable.
The FMV is Beautiful and the endings are sometimes funny, But only the regular EZ characters have endings. All the FF7 characters, (except Sephiroth) The 2 RPG characters and the secret characters are lacking an ending. EZ plays like no other fighting game so it will take some time getting use to, but after you get the hang of it you should have no trouble.
The RPG mode is really good. All though vary short (what do you expect for an extra) There's weapons & armor upgrades, Magic spells, experience points and great (huge) enemies to do battle with. There's only 2 characters to play in RPG mode (Nether of them are FF7 characters) but I didn't care.
Overall this is a worth while fighting game, and if you ever wanted to play FF7 characters in a fighting game then I suggest you get this game. You'll fall head over hells for it.
