The Flintstones have made it to the Playstation! (it was only a matter of time)
Then I Found out it was a Bowling game. (I liked Animaniacs Ten Pin Alley, I'll give a try)
Then I placed it in my PSX and got the shock of my life. (and this is not in a good way)
The game opens on Fred and Barney stuck at work and wish they could go bowling (in the worst animation I've ever seen) Poof! The Great Gazoo appears and give them their wish.
But does he create a bowling alley?.....Nooooooo. He creates a race track where Fred and his friends slide down this track in a large cereal bowl and hit as many pins as they can before reaching the finish line.
After you finish all 9 tracks and 2 bonus ones your given a score and game over.
There's no competition or tournaments, just get a high score and your done.
There's 5 characters to race Fred, Barney, Dino, Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm, No secret characters to open. There's 9 "alleys" 2 bonus point areas and a secret track. And there's none of them that are any challenge or are any fun. A trained chimp (correction) A untrained half brain dead chimp could get a perfect 300 in this game.
The graphics are undetailed and bland, and the sound is extremely annoying. The voice acting is so over the top it makes a late light infommercial look good.
Is there any thing good reason to buy Bedrock Bowling? Yes, if you need an extra coaster, use a small Frisbee or torture your worst enemy by giving him this game.
When Southpeak got the license to make a Flintstones game, They should have given the project to that untrained half brain dead chimp I mentioned earlier. we might have gotten a better game.
