The best games are sometimes the most original. Parappa the Rapper, Resident Evil, and even Tetris were all considered radical new idea's in gaming. Titus has come up with another outrageous new gaming concept. It's called Incredible Crisis and it's for the original Playstation. Incredible Crisis is about a normal Japanese family who experience the day from hell. You must help these folks survive such obstacles as a burning building, a robbery, a giant teddy bear, and the dreaded office stress management exercise.

Incredible Crisis is basically a bunch of mini games, which consists of mostly button tapping and time eluding. The games rank you based on the character's stress level. You must keep the family from stressing out over these intense situations.
However, the story that goes along with this game is just plain funny. The animation is not tops in its field, but it's not terrible either. It's average polygon cartoon character which happen to have lots of personality.
IC also features good mood setting tunes.

The worst feature found in Incredible Crisis is it's touchy control. This makes some of the games virtually impossible. Some of the games' difficulty can not be blamed on a control problem. They're just plain hard. You'd have to be Superman to pound the buttons as fast as they want us to.
Incredible Crisis is a game unlike any other out there. This is a must play for any game player. Titus has finally produced something worth while. They have redeemed themselves from that whole "Superman" fiasco.

Incredible Crisis is not perfect, but it's darn close. For only around $20 at most retailers, there is no excuse for not spending a day or two in the lives of an average traditional Japanese family.
