Jet Moto returns for the third time. Does it blow away the first two Jet Moto's?
Yes and No. Jet Moto 3 has of course new tracks and I believe old tracks to. while some of the tracks are wild and fun it's nothing I haven't seen before. The Characters are all full polygon and look great but they don't really have much appeal. They more look like cartoon characters then wild riders.
The Jet Bikes look better then ever I'll say. with more real sponcers that made Jet Moto more real. The graphic's look their best in Jet Moto 3, No more graphic break up on tracks and it's smoother and seems faster. Yet I did notice several glitches that I don't see how 989 missed. This makes me think Jet Moto 3 was a rush job. (What a surprise)
It offers all that original Jet Moto's did, Season, 2-player modes and earning trophies open secrets. Added is a Stunt mode, 5 tracks where you earn points doing crazy tricks. But this feature is a secret hidden in the game when you find coins.
I would have like to have seen a Battle mode, able to buy or earn upgrades for your bike and a create a track feature would be awesome too. (Jet Moto 4?)
Don't get me wrong, Jet Moto 3 is a lot of fun I just don't think it has all that much more to offer that Jet Moto 2 didn't have except some updated graphics. It doesn't have the Excitement or crazy original tracks that Jet Moto 2 had. It's more of a updated Jet Moto 2 then a true Jet Moto 3.
If you loved the first two Jet Moto's and want more then this one is for you.
But if you want more then new tracks and updated graphics then you might want to rent it first to see if it's worth your gaming dollars.
