The in thing right now for PlayStation games are cart racers. Some are cool, and some is just a lazy excuse for a game. The cart game has become a theme to turn any cartoon character into a game. The Muppets, Woody Woodpecker, and coming soon The Smurfs. The Smurfs? Does anybody really want to play a Smurf racing game? Infogrames have come up with their own cart racer that involves some carton comic legends. Looney Tunes Racing is available now for PlayStation.

Looney Tunes Racing retails for only 19.99 at most stores. This game does not fit into the above description of a cart game. Looney Tunes Racing is really cool. I'm talking Crash Team Racing cool. First of all Looney Tunes character are worth playing. I mean who wouldn't want to play as Bugs Bunny or Daffy Duck? Looney Tunes Racing is packed with Character. Don't be discouraged by the ease of the first level. It's so easy it makes you think this game was designed for tots. And maybe it was. Lets face it. A 3-year-old probably won't get passed first level anyway.

LT Racing features great graphics. Sure they're not as tight as CTR, but I'm talking about sharp cartoonish bright colors, and wonderful Looney Tune worlds. The pop-up is minimal and the frame rate is much better than average.

The attention to detail, really pushes this game over from the average to great status.
LT Racing has awesome music in it. Each level has its own fitting tune to go along with the mood of the level. Each character has several voice bytes, including taunts. Well . . . That is if you consider "What's up Doc?" a taunt.
The control is absolutely fabulous. LT Racing utilizes the both Analog sticks for maximum controllability.
LTR may not be CTR, but it's a nice alternative. With a system now flooded by cart racing games. Looney Tunes Racing stands out above the rest.
