Last year March Madness '99 was the worst NCAA basketball game on the Playstation, and there was only two. This year the same two Final Four and March Madness duke it out for supremacy on the court for 2000. NCAA March Madness 2000 is such a major improvement over last years mess, it should be given a new title so its not associated with it.
This a whole new game. New improved graphics. Good animations in the background and for the players. There are missing details such as coaches, cheerleaders, and ref's as found in Final Four 2000. However, everything else about March Madness is superior to Final Four. Newly added commentator Dick Vitale is awesome baby!
The control has been completely re-tooled from 1999, for instance it actually works. Which provides for a lot less stress to the player. One good aspect from '99 which has returned for 2000 are the Women's teams.
Over 200 teams packed onto one CD, including new teams such as IVY, MEAC and SWAC.
Multi-tap compatible so up to eight players can join the madness.
This March, its okay to go mad with NCAA March Madness 2000 and just skip right past the Final Four.
