The gothic game you know you love is back! Yes, Sir Daniel Fortesque has risen from the dead for another adventure.
This time out our favorite undead knight with the missing eye has a bunch of new friends and weapons. His new friends include Winston (that's Winston, not Marlboro)the helping ghost, advisor Mad Professor, and an Egyptian Princess as a love interest. See, even the undead get lonely.
Sir Dan has a few more tricks up his sleeve. He can put his head into his glove to get into smaller places, just don't forget about headless Dan. He can use his arm as a weapon when without his sword.
Graphically Medievil 2 has improved, but don't expect a complete make over. Lets not mess with what works.
Do however expect bigger, badder bosses. A few more puzzles, and a lot more imaginative levels and characters.
The sound effects are good in this game. Winston's accent can be hard to understand sometimes, but lucky for us his dialog is written out for us.
The control is the exact same as the original. Medievil 2 is a sequel in its purest form. It takes a great game with everything thing we liked about it and given us more.
If you didn't like the original Medievil, Medievil 2 won't change your mind. However, if you enjoyed the adventures of Sir Dan the jawless wonder. Medievil 2 is not only a must play, but a must have for your collection. PUBLISHER: SONY
