A lot has happened to Regis in the past year. He's hosting the #1 show in America, Kathie Lee retired from his talk show, and He has his own PlayStation game.
Sony has released the popular CD-ROM Who Wants To Be A Millionaire 2nd Edition on the Playstation.
Now you can practice at home on your Playstation before you make the call.
Millionaire on the Playstation is not quite the same as the Hot Seat seems on television. The suspense is less and the format is quite bland. The life lines are only okay. The fifty-fifty is fine, Polling the audience is random, and the phone a friend is lame. Regis calls someone he knows who may be of some help. Once again, its random on whether they know the answer or not. The Questions are lot harder in this game then a hundred dollar question would be on the show. You won't find any "What color is an Orange?" questions here.
The best part of the show is Regis and his personality. There is very little of Regis in this game. He taped an opening and a closing segment and the rest features his voice with some Regisesque quips which are repeated over and over again.
The Playstation version of Millionaire is fun for a short while, but lacks the replay of the much better Party game You Don't Know Jack.
And now the Top Six problems with Who Wants To Be A Millionaire 2nd Edition on Playstation.
