NFL 2K1

by Wyatt "JOEDOG" Elliott

Sega sports is back and video game football will never be the same again. Sega came up with a game last year that sold systems with NFL 2K, now Sega has a game that will sell more systems and Sega.net subscribers. NFL 2K1 is the first football console game to be played on- line. Yes, now you can play your favorite NFL team with someone across country or across the globe.
But don't think on-line game play is all NFL 2K1 is offering. Take NFL 2K and add superior graphics. How can there be better graphics then NFL 2K all ready had you ask? Sega has managed to do so.

The players move and look so realistic its almost better then the real game. The only thing that could make NFL 2K1 better is if it had funny beer commercials, cute cheer leaders, and some Rants from Dennis Miller.
Speaking of commentary, NFL 2K1 features some of the best. Sega's play by play is funny, accurate, and not repetitive.

Sega's control is dead on as well. NFL 2K1 is by far the best NFL game to date. Even with the Playstation 2 coming out with Madden and GameDay, NFL 2K1 will hold its own if not be superior. So Dreamcast owners worry not.
In case your concerned about how well NFL 2K1 plays on the internet. Let me rasure you it plays flawlessly. As long as there is no overload. If you experience any slow down or lag, just log off and try again.

I can not say much more about this game with out seeming like a spokesperson for Sega. NFL 2K1. Worth every minute of play.
