I remember long ago when there were these ugly little cars that you pulled back then put a penny on the back of them and then they go! mostly just spin in a circle for a couple seconds then stopped. I always like Hot Wheels or Matchbox cars and thought the Penny Racers were lame. Somebody out there must have liked them to make a game of them. And just like the cars, not a vary good one. basically the game plays like a Diddy Kong / Mario Kart wanna be. If your a fan of these games you might wanna give this game a try only because of some of it's features. Because unlike DK or Mario Kart you can customize your car and create tracks. Instead of running over idem boxes to give you weapons you have to steel or trade them from your opponents. There's even engines, shocks, tires, brakes and armor to steel or trade. You have to be in the top three to finish or others will steel your equipment. They have a great idea, but wasted it on these penny racers. If anything I said makes you wanna try this game, rent it first then decide if this game is really worth your gaming dollars.
