I still remember going to the arcade with a friend and playing Rampage over and over again. The game was simple, SMASH EVERY THING! And eat a few people along the way. Well Finally Rampage has a Sequel, Rampage 2: Universal Tour. Again me and my friend got together and tried it and it holds all that the original had. The game play is basically the same, Smash everything and eat people. But they added 3 new characters and secret 1. When you first start out you only can play the new characters; Ruby the Lobster, Boris the Rino & Curtis the Rat. They must save the past characters Lizzle, George & Ralph then you play as them. The graphics look a lot better then Rampage 1 but there nothing to brag about. Kind of a 2D in 3D effect. The Characters almost look like claymation. But my biggest complaint about this game is the levels are too small. There's like 5 to 6 buildings to smash then the level is over. For a sequel I think they could have added larger levels with more stuff to destroy. If you want to get the most fun out of this game hive a friend come over and beat the crap out of each other while smashing and eating every thing. But as a 1 player game it gets old real fast. The new Characters are not that great ether, I found them boring. Once I opened the original characters that's all I played. This one is a renter, Invite a buddy and have fun for a few hours then return it.
