For you fans of Extreme sports, EA has come out with Rush Down. (basically a 1-2 Xtreme rip off.) You choose from Snowboarding, (ugh no more snowboarding games) Mountain Bikes and Kayaking and race down a hill as fast as you can. That's the game. This game isn't to bad. It's definably better the 2 Xtreme. But this game doesn't offer much to brag about. Now the Kayaking Is original but it's nothing great. I was expecting racing through rocky rapids with water hazards like water falls, several opponents and maybe a Croc. Instead its a one-on-one or against time race down stream and you avoid a rock or two. The Snowboarding part of the game isn't to bad, But nothing great ether. And the Mountain Bikes are again just okay. Both bikes and snow boards parts are basically get down a mountain as fast as you can with out crashing. No tricks, No fighting an opponent or collecting points in any way. The graphics of this game are not to bad but the backgrounds is were this one fails. The background graphics of this game look like a still picture. You see a waterfall in the back ground and it's still. The Control is okay, but I found if you don't use the Analog it's horrible! The wipeouts are vary lame. You run into a boulder at 70 mph on a mountain bike, and you lie down? Gimme a break. I'm a mountain biker myself. If I hit anything at 70 mph, I'll wish it was like this game. Overall this one is a renter if anything, but I might pass and see what 3 Xtreme has to offer.
