Ever wanted to drive some of the fastest cars in the world? Test Drive returns with it's 5th game. with overall about 37 cars to choose from, from the classics to the modern. Viper's, Corvette's, Mustangs, GTO's, Jag's, and some of the greatest Muscle Cars ever. They also added a Cop Chase mode and (finally) a 2-player split screen. No more taking turns. The graphics look a lot better from TD4. The cars and track all look great. The control could be a little better but overall it's not that bad. The sound is great with great bands like Fear Factory. and TD5 added more to their tracks, with alternate pathways and shortcuts. the sound effect stand well to. One thing I noticed was the speed, TD4 was a lot faster. For some crazy reason they slowed TD5 down. WHY? That would have to be my biggest complaint on TD5. Is this game better then Gran Turismo? No, but if you want to race the Muscle cars with the new cars this is the best game available. If your looking for a lot of replay this game his a lot of hidden cars, tracks and modes to earn and believe me there not that easy. (unless you cheat) Overall I believe this game is one of the best along with Gran Turismo & Need for Speed 3.
