Last years PGA Tour '98 was probably one of worst golf games I have ever played. This year EA Sports has completely redesigned their whole PGA Tour series with latest PGA Tour outing Tiger Woods '99. Tiger took over the game of golf so its only natural he should take over the video game golf as well. Its a good thing he did too, cause he personally had final say over this game. We owe Tiger for that, cause Tiger Woods '99 is the best golf simulator ever made. Its up beat, original, and exciting. Tiger Woods '99 has great graphics. The great out doors have never looked so keen on the PSX. You can play as Tiger or many other PGA players. Tiger '99's most impressive feature is the music and sound quality. I would have never expected a Golf game to feature this kind of up beat tunes. Its almost like Golf Rock. It gets me pumped up and ready to play another 18 holes. In fact I find this game hard to put down. I love it. Its the best golf game I've played since Hot Shots Golf, which was more of an arcade golf and not a sim. Tiger also puts his input on your performance. He'll let you know exactly how you did after every swing. There is no commentator giving you the exciting play by play, but that's no big deal. I don't even miss one. Tiger's comments is all I need. The control in Tiger '99 is impressive too. I enjoy the Tiger Woods swing gage, and its real easy to determine which way the ball is going. Tiger Woods '99 puts some much needed attitude to the game of golf. If you perform the perfect golf swing Tiger bursts into flames with power. Tiger Woods '99 is Golf with an attitude, and I like it.
