Hello. My name is Wyatt, and I'm a Rally game addict. I don't know why.
Maybe I just like racing on the dirt, facing wild conditions, sliding back and forth on the track. Damaging the cars to unrecognizable shapes?
I just don't know what it is. It all started on the PSone with Colin Mcrae Rally. Sure, I had dabbled with Rally Cross before, but never anything so true to the sport before.
Colin Mcrae Rally was so realistic. The car moved so well. I was such a novice, I remember complaining there wasn't any competitive cars on the track. However, I still found myself playing it. Again, and again.
Hell, I even played the championship mode. I couldn't get enough. I soon had to have Mobile 1 Rally Championship, and V-Rally 2 on Playstation one.
Which of course brought me to Test Drive V-Rally on Dreamcast. I found it so much better than Sega Rally.
The addiction moved from PSone, to Dreamcast. However, Dreamcast couldn't support my addiction too well, with only two Rally titles available.
So I moved on to PlayStation 2. There, I found Paris Dakar Rally, but it was weak. Well, too weak for this Rally habit, anyway
. Now, discovered Xbox Rally games. Holy crap burgers Regis! RalliSport, Rally Fusion, Colin Mcrae Rally 3, and V-Rally 3.

That's where I'm at today. I can't believe Infogrames has unleashed this game on the unsuspecting public. Its not fair I tell you.
I was finally getting my life back. But now, I don't want it back. I want to immerse myself in V-Rally 3.
This game is Flippin' awesome, man! This game is so freakin' realistic.
The cars simply look marvelous on the Xbox. The damage is incredible. Sometimes, maybe a little too easily damaged, and maybe a bit excessive, but a heck of a lotta fun.
You can actually knock an entire tire off the axel! Heck I've lost both front tires. The race is pretty much over at that point.
If you drive lousy enough, and at first you will. The announcer will yell at you a even swear at you. Yes, I've gottem him that mad before. Don't worry, it's bleeped for E rating.

So, you may think all I care about is crashes, damage, and accidents. I can see how you would think that. However, it's just not true.
I love the Rally race. I love the strategy and will power it takes to control a Rally car. If I mess up a race, I want, no need to redo it.
I wish Rally racing was more appreciated in these United States. I know we have Rally races here, I know the proud US of A is represented in these games.
I just wish, maybe perhaps Rally races were as popular as NASCAR, or ever Indy.
I'd like to see how well pretty boy Jeff Gordon would do in a Rally car. But, I'm getting off the subject.
Inforgrames' V-Rally 3 for Xbox, is an awesome game. I heighly recommend it. And on sad note. While writing this review, I have already fallen off the Rally wagon three times.
