If you ask most people what is there favorite sporting event to attend, your less likely to hear Football, Baseball, or Basketball, but Wrestling. Whether its WCW or WWF, professional wrestling is dominating our televisions, toy stores and of course video games. The latest WCW/NWO game for the Nintendo 64 is called Revenge. An update to last years World Tour. Revenge is a worthy upgrade. They've packed more wrestlers into this game than they're ego's can handle. The Graphics are much more realistic than its predecessor. Smooth polygon graphics with no visible break-up at all. The back grounds are nice and detailed. Each wrestler enters the arena with flair and pizazz. The music and sound effects are not part of this games high light reel. Its only typical Nintendo 64 sounds. WCW/NWO Revenge has the best control featured in any wrestling game to date. Each wrestlers signature moves are easy to perform, and its not frustrating even if you don't know all the moves. Revenge is full of all your favorite arenas, including the Pay-per-view ones. All the top WCW/NWO superstars, all the championship belts, and tons of secret weapons. Jump out of the ring and reach for garbage cans, bats, street signs, chairs, its better than the Jerry Springer Show. Revenge is best played with multiple players. Tag Team a friend or two, and beat the tar out of them. Who ever said Revenge is best served cold never had a Nintendo 64, because this game is red hot. "Vengeance is mine saith the Lord"....but this is professional wrestling, so you don't have a prayer.
